Live and virtual live courses: cancellations, refunds and transfers
Live and virtual live courses (pre-license, post-license and continuing education):
- Cancel 7 or more calendar days before the course starts for a full refund, minus any non-refundable processing or third-party platform fees.
- Fewer than 7 days before: no refund, but you may transfer once to a future session within one year, subject to state rules and availability.
- No refunds or transfers once the course has begun or any part of it has been attended.
- No-shows aren't eligible for a refund or transfer.
Attendance
- Students must attend the entire class to receive credit; be on time.
- Multi-session courses (pre-license, post-license) require every session. Missed sessions can be made up when a make-up session is offered, subject to instructor and School approval.
- Students sign in and out at each session with the class code shown in class.
- Online students must attend with their camera on.
Exams
Pre-license courses end with a school exam. The passing score is 72%, and one retake is allowed within one year of the course start date.
